ICSC: monitoring and diagnostics in 2019-2020

It is not the first year that the Moscow Autonomous Institution Moscow Center for the Quality of Education has provided its services to improve the level of educational processes. To do this, the center can order monitoring and diagnostics of educational institutions, as well as knowledge and skills of students in various subjects. In the 2019-2020 academic year, the center’s work plan consists of many events, including various seminars, webinars and lectures, which will help teachers enrich their professional knowledge and students with the upcoming exams.

Types of Diagnostics

The Moscow Center for the Quality of Education was created on the initiative of the Moscow Government to increase the effectiveness of teaching in schools, eliminate various errors that may impede the educational process, identify and implement innovative teaching methods, and more correctly carry out educational reforms. An independent assessment of experts allows you to look at the problems of the school more objectively than the administration of the educational institution itself can do. The center’s tasks do not include finding only the shortcomings themselves, but suggesting rational solutions that will help bring the educational process to a high level.

In accordance with the law, each educational institution must conduct internal monitoring of the quality of education provided on the basis of an assessment of the pedagogical practices of each teacher and the final knowledge of students. ICSC proposes conducting work to analyze the results of schools, allowing to determine the achievements and problems of each educational institution as a whole, as well as to draw up a general analytical picture for all educational organizations. For this, the center offers the following basic services:

• independent assessment of academic achievement;
• diagnosis and monitoring of educational institutions;
• diagnosis of meta-subject and subject knowledge of students (except for grades 9 and 11);
• conducting training in the format of the exam and exam (for grades 9 and 11).

ICSC services are optional and can be ordered at the initiative of the heads of educational institutions, parents (legal guardians) or the students themselves (by prior agreement with the school management or parents). The schedule of diagnostic work for the 2019-2020 academic year for monitoring schools is compiled individually for each educational institution on the basis of the corresponding application. The schedule of verification of a particular school can be published on the official website of this educational institution, or in terms of work on the official website of ICSC https://mcko.ru (which is constantly updated).

It is important to consider that the diagnostic and monitoring services provided by the ICSC are paid. Their cost per unit is:

• diagnosis of students' knowledge (meta-subject and subject) in one of the centers of the ICSC - 580 rubles;
• performing a knowledge test of students in subjects with a visit to an educational institution - 9,200 rubles (for the Moscow region - 11,550 rubles);
• assessment of students' knowledge on the basis of the final work for students in grades 1-3 - 3000 rubles;
• assessment of students' communicative skills in 7th grades - 3000 rubles;
• organization and conduct of work in the format of the exam and exam (all subjects except foreign languages) - 1480 rubles;
• organization and conduct of work in the format of the Unified State Examination (foreign languages) - 2980 rubles (2682 rubles - when ordering services over 50 people);
• organization and conduct of work in the Unified State Examination format (foreign languages) - 2780 rubles (2502 rubles - when ordering services over 50 people);
• online diagnostics for grades 9 and 11 - 490 rubles.

Services can be ordered at one of the ICSC centers by contacting experts by phone or email. An agreement is drawn up with the customer on the provision of the selected service with a description of the terms, organizational issues and other conditions for all parties to the transaction.

Diagnostics schedule in the format of the exam and exam

Performing test work of the Unified State Examination / Unified State Examination in the ICSC for graduates in the 2019-2020 academic year is one way to assess their level of training. The results of this diagnosis will help identify gaps in knowledge that can be filled before the upcoming exam. The training work of the Unified State Examination / Unified State Examination completely imitate the real certification. This allows you to introduce students to the format of the test work and reduce emotional stress.
