FIPI told what changes are possible in the Unified State Examination of 2020 and we propose to analyze in detail how the Russian language exam will change, what the structure of KIM will be, whether the previously announced oral part will appear, and when the test will take place (date).

Familiarization with innovations, specifications and codifiers is an important stage from which the intensive preparation of the 11th grader for the upcoming exams should begin. And the first thing we’ll talk about at the beginning of the school year is the Russian language, which will be a mandatory exam for the USE 2020.

Examination Schedule 2020

Oral part

Despite the previously announced introduction of a compulsory oral exam in native language, in 2020 the Unified State Exam in Russian will be held in the format familiar to students - this will be a classic exam that is close in structure and content to the Unified State Exam of last season.

The oral part of the exam in Russian language

The introduction of the oral part, which will not be this year, nevertheless remains in the plans of the leadership and it is possible that the changes will be formally adopted already for the exam 2021 or 2022.

Perhaps the ministry decided not to rush into speaking at GIA-11, but first to see how the oral part in the OGE will prove itself for the 9th grade. Recall that in 2020 all ninth-graders of Russia in February will pass the test as admission to the United State Examination (by analogy with the final essay, which graduates of grade 11 will write in December).

Major changes

The USE reform has been completed, and in the coming year, passing the Russian language will be much easier to prepare for the tests, focusing on the recommendations of 2020 and 2019.

Innovations of the Unified State Exam 2020 in Russian

The structure of KIM will remain the same. The examiner will be offered 27 tasks on the ticket, which will be distributed as follows:

Secrets of preparation

Since the oral part in the USE in 2020 is not planned, preparation for the test in the Russian language will be aimed at solving the tasks of the test part and writing essays.

In order to successfully cope with the tasks of the 1st block, it is necessary to repeat all the rules of the Russian language and “get a hand” to quickly and clearly give answers to typical questions that will meet KIM.To this end, teachers recommend working out the theory, collected in special publications recommended by FIPI. You can, of course, turn to school books, but in this case, searching for information can take much more valuable time. Trial test cases will also be useful (you can also solve the 2019 demo version).

Important! The materials developed for the Unified State Exam 2018 are not relevant, since last year KIMs were significantly changed.

Preparation for the Unified State Examination 2020 in Russian

Preparation for writing an essay is a long and difficult process. Even the children who carefully read all the works will need to refresh the main plots, portraits of the characters and other important facts of the works, which can serve as a support for examples.

To start work on literary works is a list of so-called universal works, in the texts of which you can easily pick up examples for a variety of topics.

Of course, it’s not enough just to re-read all the works that are on the list of recommended literature. Each work should be carefully worked out, writing quotes, thoughts, examples and all that can be useful in the exam in the notebook.

We recommend immediately sorting found in four directions:

  • person and person;
  • man and society;
  • man and culture;
  • human and nature.
