Each girl inserted a lighted candle into a wreath and sent it through the water, and then observed:

Pentecost - it was also a celebration of the transition from spring to summer. On the outskirts of the village, the branches of two trees, most often birches or poplars, were intertwined so that an arch formed. Then the boys and girls walked in pairs through this arch and sang songs. In some regions, only young women passed through the arch.
