The former moved to vocational institutions, while the latter were about to enter institutes. Over the years, the rules have changed, and a festive ringing began to sound for each student. It is a symbol of the end of the school year.
Holiday traditions
The last call has existed for many years, therefore it is accompanied by many traditions. Each student and parent must know the customs inherent in the holiday:
- The line is usually divided into two parts. The first is called official, or solemn, including the construction, performance of the director and awarding. The second part was called the concert, it implies a more informal celebration of the end of the year. It is usually accompanied by a sweet table, dinner in a restaurant and a meeting of dawn.
- The official part of the line and the last bell includes a solemn speech by the director, teachers, and invited guests. The best students are awarded with diplomas and other awards for outstanding achievements in school, sports or other industries. Then a graduate with a first grader on his shoulders walks around the school yard, giving the last bell and marking the end of the event.
Graduates get pre-prepared gifts and present them to first graders. Most often these are pencil cases, school supplies, or sweets.
