At the end of April, the leading American sportswear manufacturer New Balance introduced a new version of the uniform of the British professional club Liverpool. The color palette of the Liverpool shape 2019 2020 is timed to coincide with a significant event - the centenary of the birth of the legend of the football club Bob Paisley.
Home form
The creators of the new home form of Liverpool 2019 2020, following the traditions, used the usual range in red shades. The change affected only the color saturation. In the new season, dark red is more pronounced. Contrast is given to the set by white inserts on the cuffs and a collar edging made in the same color. Unlike last year's version, the kit is complemented by thin white stripes.
Against the background of dark red, the club emblem and the white technical logo of the main technical sponsor stand out clearly.
The underpants are plain, decorated with the club emblem and official partner logo embroidered with gold threads on the outer sides.
An interesting detail of the kit is the autograph of the legendary defender, captain, and later the head coach of the club, Robert “Bob” Paisley, printed on the inside of the collar.
Another significant detail of the kit is the image on the back of the collar in the form of eternal flame. So the creators decided to commemorate the victims of the Hillsborough tragedy that occurred in 1989 and claimed the lives of about a hundred fans.
Two-tone leggings: the lower part of the product is in white, the upper is in dark red. Against the dark, the white inscription “New Balance” and the golden “LFC” are clearly visible.
In general, the kit is very similar to the option for the 1982-1983 season, when the team once again won the title of champion of England.
Guest kit
Creating a guest form, the designers decided to move away from the use of dark shades, actively used in previous years. The away version of the Liverpool uniform for the 2019 2020 season is made in white. Against the white tint of t-shirts, gradient inserts stand out favorably. The color scheme is very similar to the shape options for the seasons from 1892-93 to 1910-11, as well as from 1922-23 to 1980-81.
A traditional dark red hue is present on the cuffs, alternating with dark blue accents. A logical addition to the dark inserts are the inscription “LFC” and the club emblem made in the same shades.
The idea to perpetuate the name of a football legend is embodied in the guest version. On the inside of the collar there is still the same inset with a paisley autograph.
Monochrome dark blue panties contrast favorably with white t-shirts. Two-tone leggings complement the set: a white top and a dark bottom, decorated with red stripes and emblems.
The goalkeeper kit is designed in black. In recent years, this color scheme has been used quite often. The t-shirt is decorated with gold stripes with the emblem of the club and the official American partner, cooperation with which lasts from 2016.
