Cosmodrome "East"
The largest construction project, worth more than 300 billion rubles, currently being implemented in the Far East. The start of the construction of a grandiose project in the Amur Region took place in 2010. As part of this program, a number of facilities have already been built:
- new railway station with the Uglegorsk station;
- closed city Tsiolkovsky with infrastructure;
- 15 transformer substations and 11 technical substations in the cosmodrome;
- more than 100 km of roads.
At the beginning of 2019, it is planned to actively deploy the second phase of construction. In February next year, work will begin on the construction of a launch pad for heavy-duty rockets, such as the Angara. Work is being carried out at an accelerated pace and by 2022 should be fully completed.

In 1994, Russia and Kazakhstan signed documents on the lease by the Russian side of the cosmodrome and the adjacent territory of 6,500 square meters. m. In 2004, the lease was extended to 2050. The budget of Kazakhstan is replenished by 115 million dollars annually with Russian lease payments.
Shipbuilding complex Zvezda
Another no less ambitious project in the Far East. By order of the president, this strategically important project for shipbuilding is being implemented in the Bolshoi Kamen bay. An impressive part of the complex's facilities will be ready for delivery as early as 2019. An ultramodern, expensive dry dock designed for the construction of all types of sea vessels is planned to be built by 2020. After the shipyard begins to operate in full force, Russia will have the opportunity to independently produce icebreakers, gas carriers and other vessels. Previously, this kind of equipment was bought in foreign countries.
Bridge over Cupid
The construction of a bridge from Russia to China is in full swing. A quarter of a century this idea was discussed and finally the result was a grandiose project - a bridge over the Amur River, equipped at the same time for road and rail traffic. Work on the construction of the facility is carried out simultaneously by two countries. The Chinese side began construction two years earlier and has already completed its part of the work. Russian general contractors promise to open a movement between Blagoveshchensk and Heihe by the end of 2019. Airport complex
In Khabarovsk, under the program for the accelerated development of the Far East, construction of a new airport complex at the Khabarovsk airport began this year. The project provides for the reconstruction of the old airfield and the commercial development zone of AirCity. The construction cost is estimated at 17 billion rubles.

In Chelyabinsk
In the capital of the southern Urals, preparations are underway for SOSH and BRICS summitscheduled for 2020. Several large-scale facilities are planned to be built in the next couple of years. Among them:
- a new modern airport with a capacity of more than 2 million people;
- community business center with unique architecture. The height of the building under the project will exceed 170 meters, and the area will be 100 thousand square meters. m .;

Among other things, in Chelyabinsk there will be a mass of new hotels, the city embankment and convenient road junctions.
In the Sverdlovsk region
In the second half of 2019, it is planned to launch the construction of a large OSB-plate production plant on the territory of the special economic zone of the Sverdlovsk region. The corresponding agreement was signed by the CEO of Titanium Valley and the wood processing company STOD. The volume of investments according to the business plan will be 10 billion rubles. In the framework of the same SEZ, a civil aviation plant (UZGA) was built in 2018, the main focus of which will be the release of the L-410 aircraft.
Several cities in the Urals were affected by the program for the development of the unified energy system of Russia for 2017–2023. New power units of power plants in Perm, Chelyabinsk, Ufa will be commissioned.

In early 2018, the Russian company CJSC Intertechelectro signed an agreement with the German Sowitec International Gmbh on the establishment of a joint venture LLC Kurgan Wind Farm.
In Siberia
The largest construction project in Siberia in 2018 was the project for the construction of the Power of Siberia gas pipeline. The total length of the pipeline will be about 5 thousand km. Seven of the nine compressor stations will be built by 2022. Construction is at an accelerated pace. Over the current year, more than 80% of the total length of the highway was laid. The total project cost is more than one trillion rubles.
The upcoming Winter Universiade made a great contribution to the development of Siberia. In the Krasnoyarsk Territory, more than 34 facilities were built as soon as possible. The most ambitious of them: the multifunctional ice-sports complex "Platinum Arena Krasnoyarsk" on the banks of the Yenisei, the Yenisei stadium, the all-season sports and recreation park "Bobrovy Log". In addition, more than 10 ice palaces and stadiums built to meet the latest international requirements will begin to function in the city. The total cost of building a new look in Krasnoyarsk will be more than 50 billion rubles.
