Codifier content
At the stage of preparation for the Unified State Examination 2020 in literature, teachers and graduates should be guided by three basic documents developed by the FIPI - codifier, specifications and a demonstration version of KIM.
The codifier, the full version of which can be found in the corresponding section of the official FIPI portal, contains:
- The main regulatory documents on the basis of which KIMs and the codifier are developed.
- The list of content elements.
- A systematic list of the basic requirements for the level of training (what graduates of grade 11 should know and be able to do).
- List of literature included in the Unified State Examination 2020 with an emphasis on new works recently included in the program.
Familiarization with the codifier is an important step in preparing for the exam, because the document clearly spells out what knowledge and skills will be held during the GIA 2020, and what graduates should pay special attention to.
Regulations
The 2020 codifier specifies that all the tasks that I can meet at the USE in the subject "literature" correspond to educational standards that were established by the currently relevant orders of the Ministry of Education of the Russian Federation:
- No. 1236 dated 05/19/1998;
- No. 56 dated 06/30/1999;
- No. 1089 dated 03/05/2004.
Thus, the codifier focuses the attention of graduates and educators on the fact that the literature exam in 2020 will be based on relevant regulatory documents, taking into account changes made to these orders in connection with the introduction of the Federal State Educational Standard in 2010.
Knowledge Requirements
Please note that KIM has a multi-level structure and includes topics that are studied not only in the basic program, but also in the advanced level program. This means that students of schools and a physical, mathematical or biological profile to achieve the maximum score may need to additionally familiarize themselves with some works.
Testing tasks developed by FIPI for the Unified State Exam 2020 in the literature will be aimed at testing the knowledge of theoretical foundations and the formation of practical skills, as the codifier tells us.

An important skill for an 11th grader is also the ability to apply knowledge and skills acquired in literature lessons in everyday life - to conduct dialogs and discussions on literary topics, create related texts on a proposed topic, etc.

The most important information that the codifier for literature contains is a complete list of works that a graduate who plans to take the exam in the subject in 2020 should thoroughly know.
Please note that the documentation presents 4 options for indicating a literary work:
- Author and work (most of these indications).
- The author and recommendation of a review study of a specific work.
- Name of the author without specifying works (student's choice).
- A list of writers indicating the minimum number of authors whose work you need to familiarize yourself with (for 20th century literature).
