The skating rink “In the Forest” is small; it is being created in the center of the park, in the middle of the forest. This is essentially an icy alley. It is connected to the "Giant" 1st Ray Prosek.

The opening of free skating rinks in Sokolniki Park in 2019-2020 falls at the end of November - mid-December. The organizers report the exact date by the beginning of the season, since suitable weather conditions are necessary to create the rink. Sometimes you have to delay the opening until January. The “Giant” and “Tale in the Forest” work without breaks from 9 am to midnight, and you can ride at least the whole day. The ice surface is treated and prepared at night. You can bring skates with you or rent them for 300 rubles / day.
