The expansion of the Moscow Metro transport network continues to go at an active pace. By the end of 2020, it is planned to build and commission 55 new metro stations. To support them, 126 km of tracks and six new electric depots will be built. The main attention will be paid to the construction of the Third Interchange Circuit, which is planned to be practically closed in 2020. In addition, new sections of the track will be connected to the Zamoskvoretskaya, Lublin-Dmitrovskaya, Sokolnicheskaya, Kozhukhovskaya and Kalininsko-Solntsevskaya radial branches.
Big Circle Line
By 2020, the metro map of Moscow metro will take on a radically new shape thanks to the Big Ring Line, known under the working name TPK (Third Interchange Circuit), which will connect the radial branches with a new, wider ring at a distance of about 10 km from the existing one. Its construction is of great strategic importance for the redistribution of passenger flows. If at present in order to get from a station remote from the center of one radial branch to a similar platform of the neighboring one, you need to get to the transfer point in the center, and then return almost back. The situation creates a big load on the docking stations and loads the central sector of the Moscow metro, which is the main problem of today's Moscow subway. The third ring will solve the global problem of congestion in the center during peak hours.
For example, to get from Sevastopolskaya to the geographically located Kaluzhskaya station, it is currently necessary to spend more than half an hour. With the introduction of TPK, the path will take no more than 10 minutes.
At the end of May 2019, the Skolkovo Innovation Center was opened - the railway platform of the Smolensk direction of the Moscow Railway, which in the future will become part of the big ring, will be part of the Moscow central diameter Odintsovo - Lobnya.
"Street of the People’s Militia"
The launch of the new station on the street of the same name is scheduled for 2020. The stopping point will be opened in the regional entity of the capital Khoroshevo-Mnevniki on the BCL as part of the section connecting the stations Khoroshevskaya and Nizhnye Mnevniki. The project was planned for 2015 and provided for a two-level stationary complex, which was supposed to combine the two stations, but later changes were made to it. The “People’s Militia Street” will have two exits with two underground vestibules, from which you can go up to Marshal Zhukov Avenue and ul. Demian of the Poor. In the future plans is to make it a transfer station for the transition to the Rublevsko-Arkhangelsk branch. Within the framework of this construction, resettlement of tenants and the demolition of four residential buildings are planned on Marshal Zhukov Avenue.
In the neighborhood, another underground platform will appear on the Moscow metro map in 2020 - Mnevniki.
"Aminievskoe highway"
In the long term, in 2020, this station in the southwestern sector of the BCL should unload the Arbat-Pokrovskaya and Sokolniki radalka at this end of the city. In the future, it is planned to make it a transfer to the Kiev direction of the railway. This double-track section of the branch (to the Mozhayskaya platform) will be built according to the “Spanish technology”: one tunnel is provided for the trains of both directions of movement, passenger platforms will be on its opposite sides. Exits from the two underground vestibules are planned to be made on both sides of the Aminyevskoye Highway in close proximity to ground transport stops and the main office and housing development of the district.
"Street of Innovators"
The passenger platform will be placed between the BKL "Prospekt Vernadsky" and "Vorontsovskaya" stations. At these stations themselves, transitions to the red and orange radial lines will be arranged. The stop will be located at the intersection of the street with Leninsky Prospekt, which can be reached from the metro on both sides by going up to the western lobby. It is planned to supplement the denouement with the transition to the radial Kommunarskaya line. In connection with this construction, Novatorov Street will be blocked for traffic by the end of December 2020.
"Vernadsky avenue"
The new station will be built near the platform of the Sokolnicheskaya line and will have a single lobby, which can be reached from the intersection of the avenue with the same name and Udaltsov St. Further by escalator it will be possible to get to the entrance hall, connected by stairs to passenger platforms. The architectural project is typical for the Big Ring Line, but will be decorated in the red color scheme characteristic of the Sokolnicheskaya line. The transition to this branch from the southeast end of the passenger platform will be commissioned later.
Zyuzino
The station will be an island shallow platform with two access roads between Kakhovskaya and Vorontsovskaya. Despite the official name “Zyuzino”, in numerous sources the future metro station appears under the name “Sevastopol Avenue”. The eastern and western vestibules will lead to both sides of Kakhovka and its intersection with Sevastopol Avenue, respectively.
In addition to these stations, the plans for 2020 include the opening of three intermediate stops - Klenovy Boulevard, Rubtsovskaya and Nagatinsky Zaton.
In 2020, the metro will appear in Mytishchi
In the foreseeable future, residents of Mytishchi near Moscow will be able to get to the capital underground - in 2020, an extension of the orange branch will be planned. Two stations will appear on the Moscow metro scheme - Chelobitevo and Mytishchi. It was previously planned that a new line would be launched through Mytishchi, passing through the third interchange circuit. However, laying a new branch is fraught with certain difficulties, the solution of which is now being addressed by the government and the leadership of Moscow's transport structures. They are associated with the need to encumber land plots belonging to another subject of the Russian Federation - Moscow Region.
Lublin-Dmitrov line
By 2020, the branch will grow with two new platforms - “Street of the 800th anniversary of Moscow” (at the point of its intersection with Dmitrovskoye Shosse) and “Lianozovo”, which will temporarily become final. The station will be located; it will be practically at the MKAD. This will reduce the load of ground transport on Dmitrovskoye Shosse and adjacent streets, as well as the flow of passengers at the Altufevo metro station. The plans for the next years include the creation, on the basis of a new platform, of a transport hub in the Savelovsky suburban railway line.
Kalinin-Solntsevskaya line
In the coming years, this branch will become the longest in the metropolitan subway scheme due to the addition of an additional section of tracks in the western sector of the city in the existing Kalinin line. In 2020, it is planned to commission the next turn of the road to the village of Rasskazovka, where it will now be possible to get directly from Novokosino. In the longer term, the metro rails are planned to reach Vnukovo Airport.
