Speaking about what will be the winter in Crimea in 2019-2020, weather forecasters promise relatively warm weather without sudden changes in temperature and heavy rainfall. Despite the fact that the presented values of temperatures, amount and type of precipitation are preliminary and may change closer to specific dates, there is no doubt that an entertainment program for a pleasant winter pastime can be made in any weather. After all, Crimea is not only a beach holiday, but also a sanatorium-resort recreation, snow activities and many attractions for which rain or snow is not significant for visiting.
We will consider the features of the Crimean winter in 2019-2020 using the example of two capitals of the peninsula: the official one, Simferopol, and the resort one, Yalta. Although cities differ in their position on the map of the peninsula, in some periods the weather in them can be almost the same. But even the coldest winter days usually seem unusually warm for residents of most Russian regions.

In terms of temperature indicators, the month cannot be called stable: according to preliminary forecasts, the thermometer can drop to -9 ° C, which will become a record negative indicator for the entire winter of 2019-2020. Thus, it is January that should become the coldest month of the coming winter season in Crimea, having selected this “title” traditional for February.
Further, the temperature will go on increasing, reaching a mark of 10-11 ° C in the 20s. The only thing that will overshadow the almost spring weather during this period is daily rains. On the columns of thermometers will be alternating near-zero marks from-1 ° to + 4-5 ° C. Significant warming after the middle of the month will come along with rainy weather. Therefore, city walks at this time will be unpleasant.Perhaps for these purposes it is worth choosing the middle of the 20th numbers: the temperature drop is slightly offset by sunny and cloudy days.
February 2020
In February 2020, the thermometer column will drop in Simferopol to negative values only in the first days during daylight hours, and in the rest of the time - mainly at night. For the month, the prevailing number of sunny or low-cloud days is forecasted. The last days of winter will please with spring heat up to + 11-14 ° С., And it will be preceded by rainy and even snowy days.
Most of the third month of the winter of 2019-2020 will be held for Yalta without negative temperatures. And for those who want to sooner feel the spring is approaching, one can come to the resort capital of Crimea by mid-February: the temperature will rise to + 6 ° C and will only increase every day, reaching + 12-13 ° C by the end of the month. The only thing that will overshadow such a long-awaited warming, periodic rains, sometimes alternating even with slight snowfall.
