Juventus is one of the oldest professional Italian football teams and one of the most popular in the world. Traditionally, the shape of Juventus consists of several black and white vertical stripes, however, in the 2019-2020 season, designers decided to experiment. A photo of the new “old senor's” uniform was officially published on May 12, 2019.
Home form
The new form of Juventus for the 2019-2020 season caused a dissonance among the fans of the team. Instead of the classic black and white striped style, Adidas decided to present the traditional image in a different way: the T-shirt is divided into only two stripes, black and white, at the border of which there is a pink line. Presumably, the pink color is an echo of the past, because the first form of Juventus was completely pink.
The right side of the front side of the canvas is made in white, and the left - in black. The color of the sleeve is made vice versa. The black image on the right side of the chest is the image of the team sponsor and form supplier - the German concern Adidas. Juventus has been cooperating with this company since 2015. The contract is designed for 6 years and ends in 2021. Previously, the American manufacturer of sportswear Nike was involved in the design and supply of equipment for the team. The collaboration lasted for 12 years.
To the left in the chest area is the white team logo, which was modified in 2017. Now the Juve logo is in the form of J with the display of characteristic stripes. Previously, the logo was made in the form of a shield, complemented by an image of a bull. However, in 2017, the company's management decided to make revolutionary changes in symbolism.
In the center of the T-shirt is the logo of the title sponsor "Jeep" in white with a black outline. This car brand is manufactured by the Italian-American automaker Fiat Chrysler Automobiles. The company has been working with the team for 7 years, starting in 2012.
The back of the shirt is divided into three zones. The upper and lower parts are also divided in half with a pink “border”. And the central part is made in black for ease of reading the printed name and number of the player.
Black shorts and leggings, with the application of white symbols, complement the image of home equipment.
Goalkeeper uniform
The new goalkeeper uniform is made in gray with a khaki-style print of lighter colors than the main background. A graphic print gives the equipment a modern look. The gate has a black border. Also used are black side stripes that have a functional purpose. Black side inserts are made of elastic materials and provide an optimal fit and freedom of movement.
Guest kit
The new Juventus 2019-2020 form for away matches is predominantly white. The main details (symbols of the club and the logo of the sponsors) are made in bright red, which contrasts well with the main white background. The canvas of the T-shirt is complemented by a barely noticeable print - white and gray camouflage. And the sleeves have a fringing of red and white stripes.
The third version of equipment
For spare clothing, Adidas designers also decided to use camouflage. The main background of the third equipment is sky blue. A white-gray camouflage print is applied across the entire fabric of the T-shirt. All bright elements are depicted in white, including three stripes on the shoulders. The gate and the lower part of the sleeves are made in blue, but darker shade. Also, on the collar and hem of the sleeves there is a thin white stripe.
