World-famous studio Warner Bros launches the development of a new series about the cult comic book heroine - Batgirl ("Batgirl"). However, as expected before, the series about the new superheroine will be shown on small screens, as, apparently, the female mouse has not yet reached the mass audience. The release of the next multi-series is scheduled for early 2020.
DC is preparing a series about Batgirl
The DC Universe streaming service was seriously interested in cloning characters who were completely dressed in latex and wearing threatening masks. Batman, Stargerl, Metropolis are already in the past - you won’t surprise anyone. Therefore, you have to fantasize in order to somehow lure the audience with a new superhero story and collect millions of dollars. Over the past few months, there has been intense talk of a new television bestseller, the story of a masked woman nicknamed Batgerle.
It is rumored that at the beginning of 2019, the filming process of the killer, full of sparkling humor and cruelty series about a woman in a mouse robe, which will lead DC to unknown heights of popularity, will start.
It is already known that the shooting of the pilot season will start in February and will last a little over a year. So far this is all that can be said about this project. The cast and crew have not yet been determined. The director's seat is also empty. And about who will write the script about the comic book girl, is also unknown. But at least it will not be Joss Whedon, who left the project. But earlier Batgirl predicted a solo "career", they talked about the fact that a full-length, promising film about a masked girl was about to be released. However, all plans were confused by Whedon, when he suddenly resigned, and Batgirl was left without a parent.
The producers are likely to be Greg Berlanti, who is already familiar with the DC universe, in particular, he worked on the projects “Titans”, “Stargerl” and “Doom Patrol” and Melissa Rosenberg. The latter, by the way, terminated relations with Marvel Television and joined Warner Bros. Probably, the woman as a showrunner was not without reason here: Melissa already has sufficient experience in developing the characters of female heroines. And therefore it will be easier for her than anyone to work with the character of Batgirl.
The plot of the drawn comic will go to the big screen
The first story about a girl in bat robes was published back in 1961. But then the story of a girl - superheroine seemed unpromising and was safely forgotten about her. Batgerl found a new life only in the year 2000, and the names of those who wore a mouse mask constantly changed. However, the essence of the plot did not change: although all women had different lives, they fought with the most dangerous enemies of the dark Gotham. They were all sexy and aggressive, loved to dress up in black and red latex.
What exactly will be the series - is still unknown. Whether the previously described stories will come up or exciting new adventures will appear - time will tell, but for now we should only languish in anticipation of the premiere of the series, the presentation of which will have to wait until 2020.
Who will Batgirl in the series
The Batgirl mask was worn by several characters who were endowed with their biography.5 women with a difficult fate once decided to put on a mask and start a war with injustice, killing the most dangerous criminals here and there. In different years, under the pseudonym Batgerl, Helena Bertinnelli, Cassandra Kane, Stephanie Brown, Tara West hid. However, Barbara Gordon, an orphaned girl whom police lieutenant James Gordon took custody of, became a favorite of DC.
Growing up, Barbara became a fan of Batman. She made herself the same as his superhero costume and began to save people. Batman later invited her to become a member of a close-knit team of fighters for justice. She slept innocent people from criminals until she was paralyzed because of the bullet that the Joker fired at her. But even becoming disabled, the girl did not give up the idea of helping the residents of her city. She helped Batman and his comrades-in-arms break into computer systems, direct superheroes on the walkie-talkie, and collect all the information they needed through the network.
This girl in the clothes of a bat was so fond of comic book lovers that the authors decided to “cure” her and leave her the only Batgerle.
