The 2020 movie Monster Hunter is a film adaptation of the Capcom series of fantasy video games. The movie is an exciting action movie, which takes place in a parallel world inhabited by huge monsters. The film is being created by British filmmaker Paul Anderson, who already has successful experience in filming a popular game of the same company, "Resident Evil" ("Resident Evil"). Plot
The art picture tells about the incredible world into which the lieutenant of the United Nations military unit Natalie Artemis / Artemis (Milla Jovovich) with his soldiers finds himself. In a parallel hostile reality, they have to learn to survive in difficult conditions and confront huge monsters. Here, their ally becomes a local resident - the mysterious Hunter (Tony Jaa), who knows how to defeat monsters. Representatives of different worlds begin to act together to repel the monsters and not allow them to penetrate the Earth.
The main plot of the film will be different from the classic quests and tasks of the video game "Monster Hunter". However, the film will implement specific details that are inherent in this fantasy world and set it apart from other action RPG games. Such details include, for example, the disproportionately huge weapons of hunters with whom they defeat monsters. A characteristic sword of enormous size can be seen in Tony Jaa, who plays the main male role.
It is also expected that the film adaptation will use other features of the Monster Hunter world:
- bewitching ecosystems with magnificent forests, high cliffs, deserts, stormy rivers and a picturesque coast, incredible flora and fauna;
- characteristic images of heroes-hunters;

The budget of the film is approximately $ 60 million. The bulk of the funding comes from Constantin Film. It is expected that the picture will bring considerable income.
