The salary of military personnel consists of several components. In 2020, in addition to salaries in terms of rank and position, defenders of the fatherland can count on a bonus for long service and a premium for excellent physical training. However, not everyone is entitled to payments, and their size depends on several factors.
Good salary increase
To maintain the prestige of the profession of a serviceman, the authorities apply various methods of material incentives and social guarantees. Among them: provision of housing for those in need, free medical care, various bonuses, surcharges to the base salary and much more. The amount of cash allowance during service and after retirement is calculated individually for each. This takes into account:
- rank;
- position;
- special merits to the homeland;
- impeccability of service;
- work experience, etc.
So, for example, in 2020, an employee under a contract can significantly increase the salary due to a premium for FIZO. The excellent physical fitness shown at the time of the checks and documented is the basis for calculating the bonus. The size of the percentage premium ranges from 15% to 100% of the salary, depending on the level of standards implemented. When fulfilling the standards of the second qualification, the salary increases by 15% of the base. Good shape, allowing you to pass physically in terms of first qualifications, adds to the military already tangible 30% of the salary. Masters of sports who have passed the exam with excellent marks can expect 100%. Candidates for master of sports receive a little less prize (90%).
Additional bonuses in 2020 will be able to get citizens who are doing military service under the contract for conscientious and efficient performance of their duties. Payments are made monthly at the same time as the main salary based on the order of the unit commander. The premium for excellent service can reach up to 25% of the salary. If a soldier has committed a disciplinary offense or has unsatisfactory results of inspections for physical training, the prize is not paid.
Regardless of the "quality" of service, each soldier who has worked in the security forces for more than 2 years has the right to a bonus for long service. It is accrued on the basis of the order of the unit commander at the beginning of each new year. The size of the bonus depends on the number of years of service in the army:
- more than 2 years - 10%;
- more than 10 years - 15%;
- more than 15 years - 20%;
- more than 20 years - 25%;
- 25 years - 30%;
- more than 25% - 40%.
For pilots, sailors (holding a post on the Premier League) and divers, the surcharge is charged taking into account the increasing coefficient of 1.5.
The government plans in 2020 to increase the allowance for long service. For each year spent in the army, it is planned to add 3% of the salary. And with a length of service of 25 years or more, a monthly bonus of up to 70% will be put.
Military pension allowance
The army experience affects not only the size of the allowance during the service, but also the size of the pension, after its completion. To obtain the status of “military pensioner” it is necessary to develop a certain length of service, at least 20 years. Age, in this case, does not matter. In this case, the pension will be equal to 50% of the salary of a soldier. For each year worked after 20 years of service, 3% is added.
There is a restriction on the amount of pension - not more than 85% of the amount of wages for one month.This rule was introduced in 2012. Previously, the pension of military personnel was equal to 100% of wages. But after a sharp and significant increase in the salaries of the security forces, the funds for the implementation of the reform in full were not enough. Therefore, the authorities decided to introduce a reduction factor. In 2012, it was 54%, which significantly reduced the burden on the budget. According to the plan, the coefficient was supposed to grow by 2% every year and reach 100%. But the next financial crisis in 2017 forced to freeze the increase. In 2019, its value is 72.23%.
Each contractor can calculate future retirement. To do this, add up three sums:
- salary (corresponding to the position held);
- salary for a military rank;
- allowance for years of service.
The result should be multiplied by 50%. If the former military man lives in the area where the district coefficient is set, then the pension will be calculated taking into account it.
If a pensioner only served in areas with special conditions, then the coefficient will be preserved only if the service life in these territories is at least 20 years.
Years calculation in 2020
The period of the beginning of military service begins from the day when a soldier was enlisted in the lists of power structures. Ends of service the day of exclusion from the state of the armed forces of the Russian Federation. Both actions take place solely on the basis of an order from the commander of a military unit. Military experience in 2020 will be counted when serving in the following structures:
- Ministry of Internal Affairs;
- Rosguard;
- FSB;
- Ministry of Emergencies;
- FSIN;
- service in the Soviet army and bodies of the KGB of the USSR.
If a soldier has committed a crime, the time spent in the disciplinary battalion or under arrest is not included in the calculation of the length of service. The abandonment of a military unit without the permission of the commander for a period of more than 10 days is also not taken into account when calculating military experience.
