One of the most anticipated premieres of 2020 is the cartoon Minions 2. The first part was released in 2015. These charming yellow creatures conquered the hearts of children and adults around the world, so the second part of the cartoon is waiting for everyone.
Plot
The action of the cartoon will again unfold around the yellow men who are created to serve the most vile and villainous personalities. But because of their slowness and naivety, they, on the contrary, make sure that antiheroes are defeated in their cunning. Without a host, they become depressed, so they always try to find another villain.
The plot of the new cartoon will also be connected with the fact that the minions will begin to look for a new evil master, because they can not live just like that - they definitely need to help someone. But this time, some of them will start to wonder: are they doing the right thing that contributes to the plans of the villains? Maybe it's time to go over to the good side? In any case, in 2020, spectators are waiting for new exciting adventures of the minions and their friends.
The first part of The Minions briefly shows how the yellow creatures accidentally killed many famous villains. They accidentally threw a huge terrible dinosaur into the abyss. Anubis was accidentally crushed by a pyramid. And the awakened Dracula was congratulated on his birthday, presented a cake and ... opened the curtains, letting in daylight. We will find out who will become the villain in Minions 2 in 2020. There is no trailer, no teaser.
About the heroes
The minions first appeared in the cartoon Despicable Me (2010). There they were minor characters who served a villain named Grew. But the bright yellow color, slurred speech and amazing charm made these creatures the favorites of viewers. Images of them began to appear on clothes, utensils and other objects, so it was decided to make a separate film.
"Minions" (2015) entered the top six animated films that raised more than $ 1 billion. The same list includes the following popular animations:

- “Finding Dory” (2016);
- “Zeropolis” (2016);
- Despicable Me - 3 (2017).
As planned by the authors of the little men a lot. But there are three of the most popular of them. The first is Kevin. Tall, with a bun of hair at the crown. He loves to play golf and is the leader of a small group in the first part of the cartoon. In the end, receives the title of Sir from the Queen of Great Britain. Another favorite of the audience - Bob: stunted, with colorful eyes. Often walks with a teddy bear. And the third is the one-eyed Stuart, who loves bananas more than anything else (in fact, like all other minions).

And even if it’s not, it’s still pretty much clear what Stewart says, who sees a yellow fire hydrant on New York Street that looks like a minion girl. This opens up scope for imagination: each viewer, including a young one, can himself invent a "translation" of Minion's chatter.
Film crew
Fans can say “thank you” to Cinco Paul (“Cats don’t dance”, 1997, “Eared Riot”, 2011, “The Secret Life of Pets”, 2016), who came up with them while writing the script “Despicable Me”.It was he who became the screenwriter of all three parts of this cartoon, as well as its spin-offs: “Minions” and “Minions 2”. Paul also plans to release the fourth part of Despicable Me. And after it, third Minions will surely appear. But these are already far-reaching plans.
The main director of Minions 2 2020 was Kyle Belda (Lorax, 2012), who also participated in the creation of the first part of the animated film with Pierre Coffin. By the way, Coffin voices all these cute yellow creatures. Its unique French accent and a little remade on the computer voice makes them even more fun and original. Kyle Belda also voiced several minor characters in the animation.

Pierre Coffin was involved in directing and short films: “Cromignon” (about the life of the minions of the prehistoric period); "Minions against the lawn"; "Minion moments." In the creation of the second part of the animation, he already acted as a producer, giving way to the chair of the chief director Kyle Belde.
Voice Actors
In the first part, there were other characters voiced by famous Hollywood actors. Sandra Bullock (Miss Congeniality, 2000; Cops in Skirts, 2013) gave her voice to the villain Scarlett, John Hamm (Baby Drive, 2017, You Drive, 2018) voiced her husband Herb, Michael Keaton ( Batman, 1989, Spider-Man: Homecoming, 2017) - Walter.
Sandra Bullock admitted that Scarlett was the first villain she voiced. She liked the experiment, so it is possible that someone else from Minions 2 will speak in the voice of a Hollywood star. In the Russian translation, they decided to do without celebrities, so the roles were duplicated by Alena Falaleeva, Sergey Smirnov, Oleg Forostenko. Perhaps in the new project, the characters will be voiced by your favorite actors.
The cartoon "Minions 2" is already under active development, because even the exact release dates are known. The world premiere will take place on June 24, 2020, and in Russia the cartoon can be watched a week later - on July 2.
